Uganda Cranes hosted the Sudan Falcons in the first leg of the CHAN third round qualifier.
The hosts won the game with a 2-0 scoreline despite finishing with 10 men after defender Hassan Wasswa Dazo was red carded for a professional foul.
Uganda Cranes’ goals were courtesy of two first half strikes from Frank Kalanda and team captain, Farouk Miya.
