Yasser Mugerwa; (DOB: 1st May 1994); URA FC/Orlando Pirates, and Uganda Cranes
Mugerwa’s shining star of 2014/2015 season saw him move from Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) to URA FC this year before he was snapped up by South African giants Orlando Pirates.
The Uganda Cranes player operates as a midfielder. On the local scene, he scored 6 goals (three each for SCVU and URA).
Mugerwa had 12 assists in total (5 at SCVU and 7 with URA FC) in the 2014/2015 season.
He made his club continental debut for URA FC and got the chance to play against Orlando Pirates who were convinced with his style of play.
He was named Man of the Match in the first leg first round of the CAF Confederations cup against Orlando Pirates in South Africa but scored a stunning goal at Namboole against the same opposition.
