ALL QUALIFIERS (Second Round):

Uganda Kobs 0 (1) – 0 (4) Mozambique

– Mozambique qualify to play Ghana at the Next Stage.

Uganda National Under 23 side, The Kobs have been eliminated out of the U-23 All Africa Games qualifiers by Mozambique after a 1-4 painful loss to Mozambique at Nakivubo Stadium.

The two sides had played to the second goal –less draw that called for FIFA Post match penalty shoots.

Earlier, the hosts had dominated the game Mozambique opted to sit back and occasionally attack on the break.

Paidha Black Angels F.C striker, Villa Oromchan came closest to scoring in the opening half of the game (29th minute) – hitting the near post from an acute angle over 15 yards away.

Oromchan crossed for team skipper, Farouk Miya later in the second half but suspect finishing remained the team’s undergoing.

Bright Stars’ defender, Joseph Nsubuga got into a rare scoring opportunity and would have won the game for the hosts with a late effort that missed narrowly.

Mozambique now qualifies to play Ghana at the next stage of the All Africa Games qualifiers whose finals will be stage in Congo Brazzaville later this year.
