Nasser Muzamir Nsubuga was the hero of the day for Sadolin as he silenced Express FC with the solitary of the match played at Bugembe Stadium. Sadolin won 1-0.
In Luzira, Table leaders KCCA FC edged Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) 1-0 thanks to a Timothy Awany goal.
At Buikwe stadium, Champions Vipers were also 1-0 winners over Maroons FC. Midfielder Deus Bukenya was on target for Vipers.
The Jinja derby ended in JMC Hipoos’ favor by humbling BUL FC 1-0 at Kakindu stadium in a well attended match at Kakindu stadium. Onyango Patrick netted the winner.
Police and URA played to a 1-1- draw. Senfuka Rahmat scored for Police while Robert Ssentongo struck from the penalty mark.
At the Champions United stadium in Mwererwe, Bright Stars drew 0-0 with Lweza FC in the only game that failed to produce goals today.
State House has rewarded the Uganda Cranes CECAFA winning Contingent with One Hundred and Twenty Five Million shillings (UGX 125,000,000).
‘The money will be shared equally by players and officials’ said FUFA Spokesperson Ahmed Hussein.
The FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo says that these are big steps in the direction that the HE President of the Republic of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is keen on supporting football.

The latest development comes following Uganda Cranes 1-0 victory at the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup in Ethiopia. Uganda Cranes edged Rwanda 1-0 in the final held in Addis Ababa for the 14th CECAFA title.

Miya was named Most Valuable player of the 2014/2015 Azam Uganda Premier League season.

Mugerwa’s shining star of 2014/2015 season saw him move from Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) to URA FC this year before he was snapped up by South African giants Orlando Pirates.
The Uganda Cranes player operates as a midfielder. On the local scene, he scored 6 goals (three each for SCVU and URA).
Mugerwa had 12 assists in total (5 at SCVU and 7 with URA FC) in the 2014/2015 season.

Nominee for Male Player of the year;
Keziron Kizito (DOB: 17th January 1997); Vipers SC, Uganda Kobs and Uganda Cranes.
Keziron was a pivotal player in the midfield of Vipers as they notched up their second league title in the club’s history. Plying his maiden season in the top flight, Kizito’s passing in the middle of the park caught many of his opponents unawares.

At just 19, Kizito has already represented Uganda at both Junior and Senior level. He made his debut for Uganda Cranes in an international friendly against Nigeria which Cranes won 1-0.
Another memorable moment for Kizito last season was when he netted the equaliser for Uganda during CHAN qualifier against Tanzania in the 1-1draw at Nakivubo stadium.
Kizito playing for the first time in the top flight League (2014/2015 season) made14 assists as he guided Vipers to league glory.
He scored a winning goal (1-0) against Entebbe FC last season in the League.
His skills in the middle of the park caught the eye of Cranes coach Micho who handed him his maiden National team debut as a substitute against Ethiopia at Namboole stadium.
Kizito a product of the Airtel Rising Stars, has since gone on to play 11 games for the U-23 and Uganda Cranes, 1 goal against Entebbe Young (Vipers won 1-0).
National team games played against; Mozambique U23, TZ (CHAN), Rwanda (U23), Egypt (U23), Malawi, Ethiopia and Nigeria (International friendly games).
He was part of the Uganda Cranes team that won the recently concluded CECAFA Senior challenge cup in Ethiopia.
The National Insurance Corporation (NIC) which is the official health insurer of the Uganda Cranes is still in charge of the players’ health.
According to the recently signed Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) with FUFA , NIC is to cater for all medical bills incurred during the players treatment.

NIC hasn’t failed to cater for the Cranes Players health issues, it comes in when medical bill are presented to after a player receiving treatment
This is contrary to what has been circulated by a section of the media.
As the days to the awards draw closer, the organizers of the awards are well organized to give the best to the football lovers.
During the press conference held at FUFA House Mengo, Kampala on Thursday, Bobkins Kibirige of Kibo Media stated that they are ready with whatever is required to make the function colorful.

He added that he expects all guests to be on time as the function will be covered live on Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC) T.V.
Only 300 guests will be invited to witness the award giving ceremony at Speke Resort Munyonyo.

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has joined the families of the deceased who died in a motor accident that involved the Uganda Cranes players and officials.
An clarified number of people are said to have lost their lives in this fatal accident which happened at Jammi village in Kamonkoli district ten kilometers after Mbale town .
At a press conference held at FUFA House, Mengo on Wednesday .Mr Decolus Kiiza on behalf of the FUFA CEO Edgar Watson passed on the massage to the families of the deceased and Ugandans in general.
He later wished a quick recovery to all those still in hospital.
A minute of silence will be observed before all the games of the Azam Uganda Premier league kick off on Friday 12th December 2015.
In a related development, all the Uganda Cranes players and officials who sustained injuries are in good condition after receiving treatment from Nakasero Hospital.
“All players are better off now including myself after that fatal accident, we visited Nakasero hospital for treatment and all this was catered for by state house “ narrated Ahmed Hussein the FUFA Spoke Person.

Match day 12 of the 2015/16 Azam Uganda Premier League returns on Friday, 11th December 2015 with seven (7) fixtures to take place across the country.
Partient of the matches on the menu will involve the two Jinja rivals – Jinja Municipal Council Hippos and BUL football club at Kakindu stadium.
A minute’s silence will be observed before the start for each of matches in respect of the dead people in the accident that involved the Uganda Cranes players
This was communicated by the FUFA Spokesperson, Ahmed Hussein during the weekly press conference at Mengo in Kampala.
The match between KCCA F.C and Sports Club Victoria University will be played at Maroons stadium in Luzira than the earlier scheduled Nakivubo stadium, on request of KCCA F.C.

A total of twenty two (22) participants have completed the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) Administration and Management course (FAMACO) that ended on Wednesday at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
The three-day course coordinated by Tangosport Uganda was aimed at developing a forum through which football lovers can develop and benefit from their knowledge and skills of football.
The course’s emphasis was mostly put on how to handle football matters administratively with authoritative knowledge about the game.
The course runs second to that of coaching at level one that Tangosport Uganda Ltd has organized in a space of three months at the same venue.

According to FUFA 1st Vice President, Justus Mugisha who presided at the closing ceremony as Guest of Honour, he says that FUFA are committed to seeing the game getting professionalized in the country.

The nominees are; Coach of the year:
Faridah Bulega-Head coach at Wakiso United. She also handled Gafford Ladies who finished third in the inaugural FUFA women elite League last season. She is a CAF ‘C’ licenced coach and became the first female to handle a FUFA Big League side.
Khalifan Ayub-Coach of Kawempe Muslim Secondary School Women Football club. His achievements were enormous this year as he helped his club win the FUFA Women Elite League. Kawempe also won the National Schools Girls football Championship in Mbarara. He is a CAF C licenced coach.
Mark Twinamastiko: He is one of the main reasons why The Saints qualified for the FUFA Big League last season. The youthful coach believes in free flowing football. The CAF ‘C’ licensed coach is currently at FUFA Big League side Kirinya Jinja SS.

Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) will host the media at the home of football in this country, FUFA House in Mengo, Kampala on Thursday, 10th December 2015 starting at 10 a.m.
Several key communications will be made as regards the general affairs of football in Uganda, the Tuesday motor accident involving the Uganda Cranes Bus and the highly anticipated Airtel – FUFA Awards dinner will be made.

Two Uganda Cranes players Okot Denis and Hassan Wasswa Dazol were admitted at Nakasero Hospital following the motor accident that involved the Cranes bus and a commuter taxi at Jami Trading centre on the Mbale-Tirinyi road on Tuesday afternoon.
The front tyre on the bus driver’s side burst.
The decision to receive treatment at Nakasero was taken by the Government but the players are also insured under the NIC deal signed by FUFA two months ago.
Okot and Wasswa received immediate treatment at the scene following the accident. The Cranes team doctor Ronald Kisolo and physiotherapist Ivan Sewanyana treated the affected Cranes players and officials on the scene of the accident.
Meanwhile FUFA will hold a press conference on Thursday at FUFA House starting at 10am.
The Uganda Cranes team has been involved in a motor accident at Jami a few Kilo Metres from Kamonkoli near Mbale Town where the bus collided with a commuter taxi on Tuesday 8th December 015 at around 15:30 hrs East African Time after a front Tyre puncture on the Cranes Bus.
The Uganda Cranes players were returning from Soroti to meet the President of the Republic of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni where they presented to him the CECAFA Senior Challenge cup they won in Ethiopia.
All the Uganda Cranes players and officials are safe with however four people given first aid treatment but no serious injuries.
These include Ahmed Hussein (FUFA Communications head), Players Kezironi Kizito, Denis Okot Oola and Hassan Wasswa Dazo.
Efforts have been made to secure other means of transport for the players and officials back to Kampala.
We shall update you on any information as it unfolds.

The President of Uganda, H.E Yoweri Museveni Kaguta hosted the Uganda Cranes team for dinner at State House in Entebbe on Tuesday.
The team, led by the FUFA President, Eng. Moses Magogo and the Minister of state for sports, Hon. Charles Bakabulindi also comprised of FUFA Executive Committee members, members of the National Council of Sports, FUFA CEO Edgar Watson and the other secretariat staff, players, fans and media personalities.

They were received by the Vice President of Uganda, H.E Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi who represented the president at the function.
Ssekandi delivered president Yoweri Museveni’s rich laden message where he congratulated the national team upon the recent CECAFA success and wished them success in the upcoming AFCON 2017 and 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The President noted;
I thank you the Uganda Cranes for being good ambassadors of our country in different tournaments on the African continent and beyond. The incredible performance you exhibited during the CECAFA tournament proved that you can make it even for bigger tournaments like the African Cup and the World Cup.

In his speech, the FUFA President reminded the house of the road map to Project Cameroon 2019 that started with the first ever football symposium at the start of the year.
He appreciated the Government’s efforts in supporting football, wrapping up his presentation with the benefits of sports to a country vis-a-vis the role of government and a few suggested solutions.
Eng Magogo said
I appeal to the Government to consider international budgets for matches involving Uganda Cranes and clubs in the CAF competitions. Football is a natural resource just like minerals which directly and indirectly brings in millions of money to the country.

The Uganda Cranes team, fresh from winning the 14th CECAFA senior Challenge cup at the Addis Ababa National stadium returned home on Sunday at Entebbe International Airport.
The team touched down at Entebbe by 6: 20 p.m aboard Ethiopian Airlines on flight ET 334.
They were received by the State Minister of Sports, Hon Charles Bakabulindi, the FUFA President, Eng. Moses Magogo, Nicholas Muramagi of National Council of Sports, FUFA Executive Committee members, FUFA Staff and a host of delighted fans.
The team was later hosted at welcome dinner, held at Windsor Lake Victoria Hotel where the team captain, Faruku Miya officially handed over the trophy to the FUFA president, Eng.Moses Magogo
Eng.Magogo then handed the trophy to the Honorable State minister of Sports, Charles Bakabulindi amidst wild cheers.

During the few speeches at the well organized dinner, speaker after speaker re-affirmed the profound excitement that comes along attaining success of CECAFA’s magnitude as a basis of preparing for future tournaments and competitions for the national teams.

Head of delegation, Chris Kalibala narrated the team journey from Kampala to Addis Ababa and how the team acclimatized to the Ethiopian High Altitude, with a timely recovery from the loss against Kenya to winning the title a record 14th time.

The FUFA president, Eng Moses Magogo praised the players and technical team for the work well done.
It is not by accident that this year we have performed well. We planned with the technical team. We set goals and winning CECAFA is in line of our prime target of project 2019.One of them was putting in place great structures of club football, a strong base for players.
Winning captain, Faruku Miya introduced each of the players on the team and thanked them for the true team work spirit alongside the coaching staff.

The team head coach, Milutin Sredojevic was equally happy about the achievements attained in 2015 especially building the winning mentality away from home.
The Cranes won six international competitive games away from home, a reflection in the drastic rise in the latest FIFA rankings, where Uganda improved five places from 68th to 63rd in the World and bettered from 18th to 13th on the African scene.
The minister lauded the team players, coaches and FUFA administrators; appreciating the role of team-work.
He re-assured the players, FUFA administrators and fans present of the continued support Government will accord to football development.

Uganda has won the CECAFA tournament now a record 14 times from 1973, 1976, 1977, 1989, 1990, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2003, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012 to the current year, 2015.
