Micho lauds Uganda Cranes’ spirited approach

Uganda Cranes head coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has hailed the national teams’ spirited performance against Sudan in the recently concluded CHAN 2016 qualification match.

Addressing the media during the weekly press conference at Mengo in Kampala on Wednesday, Micho appreciated the players, the role played by FUFA by providing conducive atmosphere and everyone whose role could not be undermined towards the game against Sudan.

We put up a spirited performance against Sudan. Perhaps, we shall quickly put the celebrations on hold as we need to quickly plan for the upcoming FIFA 2018 World Cup qualification matches, CECAFA 2015, CHAN 2016 and the remaining AFCON 2017 Qualifiers

Micho tagged the whole process of Uganda Cranes qualification campaign to AFCON 2017 as the road to Ouagadougou, in reference to the next qualifier against Burkina Faso away in March 2016.
