ETHICS: FUFA Disciplinary Committee summons coach, players

In a bid to keep a high level of integrity and ethics amongst the various parties in the day to day running of football affairs in the country, FUFA displinary committee headed by Godfrey Ojok has summoned the several individuals.

The summoned individuals are Express F.C head coach, Wasswa Bbosa and Abu Zikusooka.

The duo was involved in a nasty brawl that partly contributed to the abandonment of the SC Villa Vs Express game at Mityana Ssaza grounds in October.

Another person to appear before the committee is a player – Kamada Lubega.
Lubega a former Wandegeya F.C player allegedly changed his identity to ‘Zlatan Lubega’ and featured for Maroons F.C, an Elgon group FUFA Big league side.

His new team – Maroons F.C suffered the wrath of the competitions committee as they lost the match to Wandegeya F.C by three points and three goals.

Another set of cases is with the Uganda Beach Soccer Association (UBSA) where two players, Abdul Karim Alvaro (of Real Galacticals) and Kassim Nasir (of Braza Braza) allegedly manhandled Meddie Senteza during the Pepsi national beach soccer league.

Another case to be heard by the FUFA Displinary committee is that where the Kampala region petitioned the women’s committee concerning their recently held FUFA Inter-regions’ football tournament.

Kampala absconded from the event that was held at Njeru Technical center.
Buganda region won the tournament that had 6 regions taking part.

Kampala missed for unclear reasons while the West Nile team was involved in a fatal accident as they traveled for the event.
