A wonderful 2nd minute Willy Kavuma free kick after Ronnie Kisekka had fouled Allan Kyambadde opened the floodlights for the visiting Express side.

Rogers Lukwiya added Express’ second in the 30th minute before referee Ali Kaddu called for the half time.

KCC live wire striker, Herman Wasswa’s rich vein of form continued as he pulled one back for the hosts 6 minutes after recess.

Express’ burly forward, Isaac Sserunkuma, often used as a lonely striker for long spells of the game buried off the game  with an 82nd minute effort before second half substitute, Derrick Nsibambi  flicked the ball into Express’ net 5 minutes to full time to book a tense finish .

The victory earns Express 3 points and thus accumulate 29 points off 26 games, 2 points better  than Bright Stars. KCC remains in the league pole slot with 49 points off 25 games.

Sports Club Victoria University is joint top (49 points) but has played a game more than KCC (26).

Andrew Kiweewa netted a brace, including a last gasp equalizer for Masaka L.C before Gerald Kimuli got the other goal for the visitors.

A double from Francis Olaki  and Dan Wagaluka had put Soana in the lead before a late surge by Masaka L.C, one side desperate to fight against relegation.

A point for Soana puts them on 45 while Masaka has 20 points from 26 games played.

Jinja based side, Bul, coached by Kefa Kisala picked an away point at Namboole over Harunah Kebba’s Kira Young with a goal-less draw.
