At Nakivubo Stadium in the heart of Kampala, Kampala Capital City Authority football club and SC Villa played to a score-less draw.
The Saints caused the biggest shock on the day, overcoming Express FC 3-0 at the Nelson Mandela National stadium, Namboole.
Alex Kitata registered a brace before Hassan Musana capped the icing on the cake for the home side.
At Kakindu stadium in Jinja, Richard Wandyaka scored four goals to his name in Jinja Municipal Council Hippos 4-0 demolition against visiting Soana Football Club. Wandyaka becomes the first player to score four times in a single match this season.
