We are looking forward to our first encounter against Lugazi FC which is a good team according to their preparations thus we can not underestimate them,’ he said.

Coincidentally, they will play their first FUFA Big League game at Kavumba Creation Ground, a place where they confirmed their promotion.

Coach Shafik Karim says they are not under any pressure because the team’s ambition is to survive relegation this season.

‘We are now in the second division thus there is a lot to learn. We won’t play under pressure but we shall always give our best to get good results with the main aim of surviving relegation.’ He stated.

The other games on Saturday will see Calvary FC hosting NEC FC in Yumbe, Ndejje University take on new comers Jinja North United while Kitara FC will be up against Northern Gateway FC.

Elsewhere, Mbarara City take on Booma FC, Luwero United face Kaaro Karungi while Soroti FC host Adjumani TC FC.

The previous games weren’t good for the two with Kataka picking just a point off Blacks Power while Kyetume shockingly lost to relegation bound Proline at their own backyard.

The hosts sit on top of the log with thirty six (36) points while the visiting side is fourth on the table with thirty four (34) points. A draw will be to Kataka’s advantage while Kyetume need nothing than a win to confirm their return to the only league that matters.

    What both coaches say
Godfrey ‘Toldo’ Owachango the Kataka Coach
‘The game means alot to everyone at the team but that doesn’t mean we are under too much pressure. It is our opponent under the pressure because they only need a win whereas a draw is enough for us. We have set the players ready and their responses is positive thus looking forward for the game’

David Mutono the Kyetume FC Coach
‘ We have played all games as finals but the only difference this time is we are playing the final decisive game against the the table leaders.  We all want the results and the best team which is us will emerge  victorious. We won the first round encounter and they know we are stronger.  Unfortunately we lost a game against Proline because I was away for a Coaching course but now I’ve been around to prepare the my boys.  The loss was   a wakeup call therefore we shall come with no other intentions than winning.’

    Blacks Power Vs Luweero United
This is another anticipated thrilling encounter with both teams having genuine reasons to collect maximum points.  The Lira based hosts are promotion contenders while the visiting Kosovo Boys need atleast a point to survive relegation.

    Blacks Power FC

The Vialli Bainomugisha Coached Blacks Power is second on the table with thirty six (36) points the same with table leaders Kataka FC also same goal difference but separated by the goals scored while Luweero United is seventh on the table after collecting twenty five (25) points.

Coach Vialli Bainomugisha while speaking with www.fufa.co.ug highlighted  the importance of the game to him, Players, officials and the entire Lango community.

‘This is a cup final and game changer for the me, players fans and the entire Lango Community.  Luweero is a strong team thus we won’t take it for granted which means we shall have to work hard to win the game. We have psychological, physically and mentally set the players ready for the game and they know how important and what it means not only to them but the entire community. The game is so tricky on our side because anything can happen in football and there also other game finals else where which we have to monitor.  Therefore we have to utilise all the chances we shall create and score to be safe.’ Said Vialli Bainomugisha

    Nyamityobora Vs Maroons
It seems a walk in the park for the visiting Prisons side because the hosting Mbarara based team are playing for pride after confirming their relegation to the Western Regional League next season. The third placed Maroons need to win the game to be assured of the place in the SUPL come next season.

Maroons players celebrate one of their goals.

The opponents of Calvary have nothing to lose and safe with twenty seven points on the log.
