Kefa Kisala promises better showing for Hippos against Egypt

    CAF U-20 Qualifiers – 1st Round (2nd Leg):

Uganda 2-1 Rwanda (Uganda Progresses to next stage after 3-2 aggregate victory)

Next Fixture: Uganda Vs  Egypt – May 2016

After guiding the Uganda national Under 20 side (Uganda Hippos), head coach Kefa Kisala has now set eyes to the next opponent in line – Egypt.

The former Uganda Cranes international, Kisala told www.fufa.co.ug, he has started preparing for the next stage that will see the victor progress to the CAF U-20 finals in Zambia next year.

“We are glad to have eliminated Rwanda. There are still a lot things we need to put together as we focus against Egypt at the next stage” Kisala noted.

Uganda fell to striker Abeddy Biramahire’s well headed attempt in the 17th minute.

In typical fighting style, Zaake Luboyera got the equalizer just three minutes later before the same player converted a second half penalty to give the hosts the victory.

Kisala believes the team requires more time together for the perfect bonding and testing out of various combinations and playing formats.

“We need more time to play and plan as a team as we look towards the Egyptian challenge” he adds.

Kisala is assisted by three coaches; Daniel Kiwanuka (goalkeepers’ trainer), Arthur Kyesmira and Richard Wasswa.
