Once again in the acts of malice, opportunity to extort, lack of professionalism and ethics, Mr. Katongole Kiwanuka of the Red Pepper and his accomplices have deliberately championed the agenda to malign the person of the FUFA President in a story whose headline ‘Narrow Escape’ on the back page of the Red Pepper (Thursday 28th May, 2015) has neither any connection with the content nor close to the truth.
FUFA is aware of this agenda every time there is an international game coming up that such headlines are positioned to disillusion the players, coaches, the fans, the sponsors, the Government and the entire football stake holding public. It is a new vice that every right thinking person must condemn.
FUFA therefore wishes to assure the public that the FUFA Delegation led by the FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo, including the 1st Vice President Justus Mugisha and Chief Executive Officer Edgar Watson are not anywhere connected to the FIFA matters being reported that span from the early 90’s and that the delegation is ready to be part of the proceedings at the FIFA Congress that will culminate into the Presidential elections tomorrow and continue on Saturday 30th May 2015.

The FUFA Women Elite resumes this weekend with six games on card. All the 12 teams in the Women top flight are involved.
Only one team remains unbeaten in the FUFA Women Elite League this season so far. Western United and Kawempe used to enjoy the ‘unbeaten status’ but as it stands Chris Kalibala’s team will head into Sunday’s fixture against UCU as the only team yet to suffer defeat.
The match that is likely to create all the hype is between wounded Kawempe Muslim and Buikwe She Red Stars with all the attention switching to the Daughter vs Mother Battle. Kawempe have Hasfa Nassuna who will be facing her mother Annet Nakimbugwe of Buikwe She Red stars.
