GUINEA 2 – 0 UGANDA: Uganda Cranes misses chance to Afcon 2015 finals

    FULL-TIME: Guinea 2 – 0 Uganda
    Ghana 3 – 1 Togo

Uganda Cranes will wait for yet another campaign to get a chance for qualification to the African Nations Cup finals.

A 2 – 0 loss at the hands of Guinea blew up Uganda’s chances for qualification.

It was tough for the Cranes as they lost their captain Andrew Mwesigwa through a red card in the second half as it made matters worse for a team that went into the game needing just a draw to qualify for the finals to be hosted by Equatorial Guinea next year.

Guinea finishes on 10 points, just a point behind group E leaders, Ghana who won 3 -1 against Togo in Tamale.

Both Ghana and Guinea qualify for the finals.
