During the first round, Soana and Sports club Victoria University (SCVU) football clubs played to a goal-less draw at the Nelson Mandela Stadium.

At Kavumba recreational stadium on Tuesday, the two sides will once again meet.

Morley Byekwaso’s Victoria University lie 10th with 24 points, 2 better than Soana, who sit 12th on the 16 team table standings.

A win for either side will be a crucial safety route from the relegation mathematics.

SCVU welcomes back lead striker, Derrick Tokko, who missed the club’s 0-2 loss against URA at Namboole over suspension.

LWEZA VS SIMBA – MUTESA II STADIUM, WANKULUKUKU STADIUM (LIVE ON 102.1 FUFA FM)

The beauty of this fixture is that both sides have scored the same number of points (22) although Lweza has a game in hand.
Lweza is currently sitting 11th and Simba lies 13th on the table standings.

Lweza F.C lost surprisingly lost their league encounter at Bugonga against Entebbe 0-2 and can not avoid for a further slip up.

Fred Kalanzi and Raymond Edema are expected to be the star players for Lweza and Simba respectively.

The mighty 102.1 FUFA f.m will bring you the minute to minute up dates of this game live from Wankulukuku stadium with expert analysis from the technical personnel of former Uganda Cranes internationals, Paul Mutakabala and Edward Kalungi.

VIPERS SPORTS CLUB VS ENTEBBE F.C – KAVUMBA RECREATIONAL STADIUM:

It will be a fixture of the top facing the bottom placed. Rock bottom Entebbe only managed to pick their 3rd victory of the campaign with a 2-0 home win against Lweza last Friday.

Contrastingly, Vipers lost their maiden game since the league kicked off on 19th September 2014 to boggy side, Rwenshama at Nakivubo stadium.

The current table leaders lost their unbeaten record to surprise package, Rwenshama last Friday in a 1-2 fixture that was also shown live on Azam Television.

Whereas Vipers boost of several Uganda Cranes internationals in Miya Farouk, Kezironi Kizito, and Goal keeper, Isma Watenga,

Entebbe F.C will not point on a distinguished star player but, dwell on an unquestioned bed of team work.

Strikers Alosious Lubega, Nana Natabanzi, Dan Ssewava and veteran defenders, Azizi Mugonza are the key pillars for Richard Makumbi’s coached side.

Another slip up for Vipers will be a very big blow as regards the title chase, since their first league accolade in the 2009/10 season.

MAY THE BETTER SIDES CARRY THE DAY.

  • BUGANDA REGION LEAGUE: Final Bend as Play offs Approach

With less than three final games for teams in the Buganda region, the competition for slots has intensified.

In the Sezibwa group, leaders Kampala United (34 points), Luwero United (29) and Kira United (28) have a realistic chance of making the two of the required teams for the play offs.

Over the weekend, Kira United and Kampala United played to a one all draw and Luwero United were held at home by Free Stars.

The two relegated teams (Bombo United and Mukono United) are already known.
