Latest FIFA Rankings:
Uganda -76th
Uganda has improved by two places to 76th in the latest Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) rankings released in Zurich, Switzerland on Thursday, December 18th 2014.
Uganda, which was rated 79th last month is now 76th in the entire world with 438 points.
Rwanda at 68th becomes the highest ranked nation in the entire CECAFA region, taking over from Uganda.
This is after moving 22 places from 90th to 68th and It is also good news to fellow CECAFA neighbors, Tanzania who have moved 7 places to 107.
Sudan also climbed five places up from 115 to 110 while Kenya has fallen two places to 116th, dropping 2 places down the drain.

Algeria remains Africa’s most ranked nation in the world in 18th followed by Cote D’Voire (28); Senegal (35), Ghana (37) and Guinea (39) in that order.
There was no change in the top five with Germany still on top followed by Argentina, Colombia, Belgium and Netherlands.
Worldwide, the worst mover is Cuba moving from 79th to 113th. Bhutan is the worst ranked nation at 209 points with no point at all.
The next FIFA Rankings will be released on 18th January 2015.
