FUFA JUNIORS LEAGUE: Play-offs Shifted to Lugogo Stadium

Saturday, 8th August 2015 – Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo

2 p.m: Synergy vs Super Cubs

4 p.m: KJT vs St Mary’s Heritage

2pm: 3rd Place Play off, Final at 4pm: Sunday, 9th August 2015 – Lugogo

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA)  confirms that change of venue of the play-offs for the inagural FUFA Juniors 17 league from Nakivubo to the Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.

FUFA Competitions Director, Ali Mwebe confirmed the change to www.fufa.co.ug;

The semi-final play-offs on Saturday and finals on Sunday shall be  now played at Lugogo than earlier communicated

Natete based Super Cubs entertain Masaka’s Synergy in the opening fixture at 2 p.m before the second match comes knocking when two free passing side, KJT and St Mary’s from Nabweru face off each other at 4:00 p.m

The third place play offs shall be held on Sunday, still at Lugogo as the finals will crown the day.

Prize giving and medals’ presentation will follow thereafter.

The FUFA Juniors’ league has been played for the first time this year in the history of Uganda’s football.

Starting next season (2014/15), every Azam Uganda Premier league club will be expected to field a team in the FUFA Juniors’ league.
